Happy to host in the Harokopio University of Athens the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting (13-14.06.2024) of the “Culture Couture – Merging Fashion and Tradition for Sustainable Style” (COUTURE) Erasmus+ project, which is dedicated to fostering sustainable fashion and job creation through the integration of traditional arts like weaving, embroidery and knitting into modern fashion design.
Partnering with universities across the West Balkans (Kosovo, Albania), Greece and North Macedonia, the project aims to innovate fashion education by developing modules that blend traditional techniques with contemporary creativity.
The Department of Economics and Sustainable Development-Harokopio University of Athens (HUA) participates to the project on behalf of Greece. The HUA team is consisted by: Prof. Evangelia Georgitsoyanni, Assoc.Prof. Katerina Antonopoulou, Assist. Prof. Sofoklis Skoultsos, Dr. Evanthia Andrikopoulou, Laboratory Teaching Staff, and Dr. Eleni Zenakou, Special Teaching Staff.
